Women are often seen as a commodity

Human trafficking is an issue that involves the entire world. It happens everywhere and we want
to raise awareness about the fact that it is closer to us than we think. Most of the victims of
human trafficking (80%) are women and children who are forced into the sex industry. The majority
of them, even if they are rescued, can never return to their former lives again, as they have been
both mentally and physically scared and will be stigmatized by society.
